Anne Grey is an experienced educator, instructional designer, and leader with valuable skills in curriculum development and inclusive teaching practices. Born in Mumbai, India, and having lived in seven countries across the globe, she brings a rich multicultural perspective to her work. With a doctorate in higher education and a background in psychology and counseling, she effectively combines interdisciplinary knowledge in her teaching and organizational development approach.

As District Coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence and part-time faculty at Portland Community College, Anne utilizes her abilities in faculty support and instructional design. Her previous positions at Concordia University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Emory University demonstrate her skills in creating culturally responsive courses and fostering inclusive learning environments at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a psychometrician with Emirates Airlines in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, developing her expertise in assessment and evaluation.

Anne serves as a dissertation chair, applying her research guidance and mentoring skills to support doctoral candidates working on diverse educational topics. Her experiences traveling to over 80 countries inform her commitment to multicultural education and global perspectives. Known for her collaborative approach, thoughtful leadership, and dedication to cross-cultural understanding, Anne contributes to educational excellence through her skills in developing inclusive programs and student-centered instruction.

Anne is a yoga enthusiast and an alumna of the PCC Ayurvedic yoga health program. Anne is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone. She incorporates yoga in trauma-informed practices and encourages yoga as a form of personal activism.
