It was so nice to see you again today. We started Unit 9 and practiced verbs in the simple past. We had two book reports. Then we went to the computer lab. Some students worked on their paragraphs. Some students practiced simple past verbs.

Here is your homework for Friday:

  1. Do any old homework:independent practice #5 here is the chart; Do Voicemail #2. Call me before class on Wednesday. Listen to my example voicemail. EIA 2: Unit 9: Workbook: Do pages 56-57 (A and B) on a new paper. Write complete sentences using verbs in the simple past.

  2. Still need to give your book report?? Finish reading your library book. Fill out the paper for your book report . Let Heather know when you are ready.?On Friday we have Eliana and Rossy.

  3. EIA 2: Unit 9: Learn the simple past verbs, p. 156 and p. 162.?Write two sentences answering this question: “What did you do yesterday?” E-mail me or bring them on Friday.

  4. EIA 2: Unit 9 Workbook: Write pages 58 and 60 in complete sentences on a new paper.

Here are important dates for our class:

  • Monday, June 2nd: Special class with World Religions and then CASAS testing. Please come to class on this day!

  • Friday, June 6th: Last regular class. Unit 9 Test. Return PCC EIA 2 Books and Workbooks.

  • Monday, June 9th: Final Class & Party: 9-11. Bring food or drink to share. We will eat, talk, play games and listen to music (maybe we will sing and dance too!)

  • Monday, June 23rd: Summer Term Starts
