We talked about ordinal numbers, which we use for saying the date or our birthday. You took a Unit 3 Quiz mostly about prepositions of place. We talked about new vocabulary on p. 54 and practiced pronouncing vowels and counting syllables. Here is the Color Vowel Chart. You can click on the colors to hear the vowel sounds pronounced. Listen and repeat. As you learn new words, which color vowels do they have? We also did Karaoke Friday and listened to some extra songs. See the slides for links. Attendance Reminder
Please come to class everyday. When you?miss class a lot, it will take you longer to improve your English. Students who are often absent in the term (more than 3 classes) usually need to continue in Level 2 and do not progress to Level 3. Stay healthy and make your appointments for other times.
Correct your Welcome Unit Test. Do not erase your first answer. Write your corrections in another color pen or on a new paper. Here is the?correction key.

English in Action 2 Unit 3: Workbook. Write A, p. 20, B, p. 21, C, p. 21, E, p. 23 and G, p. 24 in complete sentences on a new paper to turn in to me on Monday.
Start independent practice #3 (practice each skill – you choose how) and then fill out the chart (or you can call me or e-mail me). It is due next Friday.
