Here are?the slides?from today.
We reviewed the be-verb in positive sentences, negative sentences, questions and contractions. We also talked about wh-questions. These questions are for information (What’s your name?) We had a new helper today: William.
Here is the new homework for Wednesday:

  1. English in Action 2: Review pages 10-11. Listen again slow down the audio and repeat after the speaker.

  2. English in Action 2 Workbook: New: Write E, p. 4 and pages 6 and 7.? Use complete sentences, good spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

  3. Prepare for the Welcome Unit Test on Friday: listening, reading, writing: capitalization, spelling, punctuation, word order; be-verb (sentences, negative, contractions, questions). Yes/no questions, wh-questions and answers. )

Finish any late homework:

  1. English in Action 2 Workbook: Old: Write pages 4-5, D, F, G, H on a piece of paper.

  2. Old: Finish independent practice #1 (practice each skill – you choose how) and then fill out the chart (or you can call me or e-mail me)

  3. Old: Choose a famous person and write 5 sentences about him or her. Use the model from C, page 9.

I will work on grading your quizzes and homework.
