Details about this class
In this summer class, we will critically think and create an empathetic and supportive community. My classes are collaborative and discussion based; I'm interested in building an inclusive community. This means we will practice approaching others' views, and writing, with kindness and empathy. And, this is a theme we will explore throughout the term: empathy. If you are interested in joining an interactive and supportive writing community, this is the class for you. The class is hybrid: we meet one day a week on campus and then there will be required weekly online activities. Attendance is mandatory for this class.
