Wooden Boat Building Teen Camp
Build a one-person canoe from scratch..and paddle it on the water! Teen students engage in STEAM learning as they read design plans, draw the parts on plywood or 'loft' and using basic woodworking tools, create and assemble the boat. Experience the whole process start to finish while troubleshooting as a team. For ages 12-17.
Bring a lunch, water and snacks. Wear sturdy shoes. For the price of the materials, we will have a drawing for any teen students or their families who wish to take the boat home.
