Details about this class
This class is presented entirely online and will apply several kinds of online resources, including excerpts from an open source textbook the instructor has authored. Each week, students work through the readings and lessons on their own time and meet deadlines for discussions and assignments. There are no scheduled meeting times. All course materials are free to access online.
Technology
You'll need:
- reliable access to the web in order to use D2L Brightspace, watch videos, and view websites
- Word or other word processing software
- optional - a printer if you're uncomfortable reading material on a screen
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
