Details about this class
Now is the time to enroll in Social Justice learning! With national and global forces targeting all things just and fair, and even banning the phrase "Social Justice" at the federal level, join the work to disrupt on-going oppression. As a community of students, you will work together to complete a Direct Action Project (of your choosing). Along the way, we'll explore the tenets of Social Justice including the history, the language, the obligation, and the path to liberation. Key features of this course include:
- Implicit Bias
- Hegemony
- Narratives
- Messaging
- Audience
- Framing
- System Disruption

- Breaching Barriers
So, if you have been searching for something, a way to participate in changing the world, I'll see you in June!
