  • Indigenous traditions from several continents

Each of the following Module components is worth 20% of the cumulative score for the course:

• Weekly assigned readings and videos with a brief review activity

• Weekly Journaling on assigned readings and on current events of a religious nature

• Weekly Discussion Forum

• Field Trip and Field Trip Presentation — You are to experience a worship service or a ceremony that is new to you — AND — while there hold a brief interview with an official of the group you've observed.  You then are to reflect on that Field Trip experience, using what you are learning through the course content.  Finally you are to produce and upload a Presentation (either a narrative description with photos or graphics, or a PowerPoint, or a video, etc.) in order to share with the class about your specific experiences and what you learned about religion as a result of your Field Trip and Interview.
