Details about this class

This yoga class begins with a fundamental look at basic asanas (poses) and builds on them weekly. My goal is to provide an inclusive, equitable class that will explore a range of Hatha/Vinyasa style flows with a focus on breath work (pranayama) and meditation.

Beginners and more advanced yogis are welcomed and encouraged.**

Our yoga room is filled with natural light through many windows that overlook gorgeous trees and foliage.

You will need a journal to write in please (nothing fancy, a spiral notebook will do). We will also explore yoga philosophy.

Please have a yoga mat. The bookstore has them available for purchase. We do have mats in the classroom, but they are not ideal for yoga. Blocks, straps, and other equipment are provided and encouraged to use to make your practice comfortable.

If you have any questions regarding the class please feel free to email me (susan.milln@pcc.edu)

Hope to see you on the mat!

**This class is cross-listed with Yoga I, II, and III

Since this is an 8-week class, you will be required to do one hour of yoga practice a week outside of class time with a simple online journal submission.

Technology
