Details about this class
This is an on-campus, in-person class. Attendance at Southeast Campus will be expected every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:20 pm June 24 to August 14. Each class will include significant time for group work and interactive collaboration. Active participation will be encouraged from all students.
Math 58 and Math 98 is a two term sequence of introductory statistics and data analysis that use the same textbook, Pathways to Math Literacy, Sobeski and Mercer, 3rd edition. This a workbook that contains the in class notes and group work, and many of our homework assignments, and the cost includes access to each lesson's online homework.
We will use two free online programs to help with many assignments: Google Sheets and Desmos
