Details about this class

Branded media explores producing video and branded media for client-oriented projects. Includes the intake and initial design process, scope development, pre-production, client communication, and meeting deadlines for specified deliverables. This class asks students to work with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and work with film gear from PCC's equipment room such as intermediate/advanced video camera builds, lighting set ups, and intermediate/advanced sound gear. Students will also be paired with a community partner organization for the duration of the course to foster meaningful relationships and develop branded media content making skills. Potential community partners include the Portland Thorns, the Portland Pickles, and The Rose City Rollers.

Technology

Equipment/technology for this course will be available through the editing labs and equipment room on campus. Students will be required to use these resources to produce work in this class.
