Details about this class
Covers Laplace Transform analysis. The transfer function, convolution, bode plots, and Fourier series are used to analyze circuits. Passive and active filters are designed and analyzed using these new circuit analysis techniques. Circuit simulation, math analysis software, and laboratory projects are incorporated to solidify classroom theory and practice. Prerequisite: ENGR 222 Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment: MTH 256. Audit available.
0.000 OR 5.000 Credit hours
Technology
Students will be using LTSPICE (free downloadable) and Multisim (free in-lab) software for Laboratory experiments and homework. Students are expected to provide their own electronic components for laboratory projects to include resistors, potentiometers, capacitors, inductors, transistors, LEDs, and operational amplifiers.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
