Welcome to your SolidWorks course.

  1. This is an online class with scheduled meetings.
    We meet as a group at the prescribed times listed in the course schedule.   
    That means you are expected to log in and attend the zoom meeting, participate in lecture discussions and be present.

  2. There is not a designated computer lab for you to use.  The software will be provided free of charge, but you and you will need your own Windows 10/11 computer.  SolidWorks does not run in MacOS.   Again, to install the software at home you will need a PC desktop or laptop running Windows 10/11.  Follow this link for basic computer requirements.

  3. A Dropbox.com account is also required, which is free if you don’t already have one. I'll send out invites as we get closer to the term.  This is similar to Google Drive.
     


 

 

 

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
