Intro to Spanish Folk Dance: Sevillanas
Sevillanas, a dance style closely related to flamenco, has a social nature. It is danced in pairs at clubs, parties and shows. No need to bring a partner, though; we will rotate through our group. All levels welcome.
Andrea La Canela's years in Spain and experience teaching will have you dancing Sevillanas with ease and understanding. She has been a professional flamenco dancer and teacher for decades, and her background in ballet and modern dance enrich her understanding of teaching dance.
