Details about this class

This is a fully Online course with no zoom meetings to attend. The content is hosted on D2L (Brightspace) and you have to submit assignments each week -  labs and discussions for each week.

Technology

This class uses the XtremeLabs online hosting service. Students will need to purchase a code for XtremeLabs through the PCC Bookstore before they can log in to the labs. The cost of the code is about $29. Please arrange to get the book and the code before the class starts, so you are ready to go on the first day of class.

A good Internet connection is required because the labs will only work online. Either the Chrome or Edge browser is recommended. The course may be taken on any computer running Windows (10 or 11), Mac OSX (Intel/M1/M2/M3) or Linux with a good Internet connection. The textbook for this class is also required. 

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
