Details about this class
I'm Ralph Parker, your instructor for this short summer term. Throughout this course, we will explore topics such as business management theory, including the basic functions of planning, organizing, directing, leading, and controlling as well as factors contributing to change in current management approaches.
To ensure you make the most of your learning experience, I strongly recommend reading the Course Syllabus and printing a copy of the Course Calendar & Due Dates Checklist located in the Vital Course Information module accessible from the class homepage. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you submit assignments, discussion posts, and quizzes on time. You can access assignments, discussions, and quizzes through the Calendar on your class homepage. Simply look to your right on D2L, where you'll find the Calendar and check for "due dates."
Additionally, I'd like to inform you that all course lessons, discussions, and assignments become accessible on the first day of class, giving you the option to work ahead if you wish. Quizzes become available on their respective weeks, and you can attempt each quiz up to two times.
