Details about this class

Curious about how business works across borders?
This fully online course is a great starting point for students interested in the international business landscape or looking to build a strong foundation in global business concepts. Instead of just focusing on the nuts and bolts of importing and exporting, we’ll explore the bigger picture, including global political and economic systems, international trade polices, cross-cultural ethics, legal challenges in global markets, and how the international monetary system works.

Whether you're planning a future in international business or just want to broaden your understanding of how the world of business operates globally, this class sets the stage for deeper exploration and future specialization.

What to expect:
No textbook required — all course materials are free and thoughtfully curated using open educational resources. From day one, you'll have access to everything you need in Brightspace D2L: weekly readings, interactive discussions, quizzes, and assignments that keep you engaged and on track.

Prerequisites:
(WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20, or equivalent placement.
