Details about this class
This course meets synchronously online via Zoom during your scheduled class meeting times.. Attendance is mandatory. This is a language immersion course conducted entirely in American Sign Language (ASL); no spoken English is permitted during class sessions.
Required Technology-
Webcam is required and must be on during class. Students without their camera on will be marked absent.

High-speed internet and a laptop or desktop computer are essential. Phones and tablets are not sufficient for full participation.

Two unexcused absences are allowed. More than two may result in a drop of one full letter grade per every two additional absences.

Late arrivals and early departures may count as partial or full absences.

Notify the instructor in advance by email if you need to miss class.

No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
