Introduces visual language of drawing, basic perceptual drawing techniques, media, and tools. Explores personal expression and creative problem-solving skills of sighting, measuring, composing, and constructing in drawing. Presents foundational vocabulary to discuss and evaluate drawings within diverse historical and contemporary cultural contexts. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
