Details about this class

This class is practical and will produce at least two essays ready for scholarship applications. That's exciting! The path to completion of two essays includes activities like journal entries, discussions with classmates, peer review groups, and researching relevant scholarships for your needs. You'll learn more about purpose and audience so you can craft effective messages (essays). Scholarships are competitive; therefore, the class covers a lot of ground in eight weeks. Be prepared to write and respond on a weekly basis.

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
