The textbook for the course is free.
There is a supplementary book that is required called "Outliers" by Malcom Gladwell that is not free, but is available many places for free. For example, I checked out a copy from the Washington County Library System for free, and I found my copy on Amazon for under $10. So, the cost is very low for this book.
Technology
Access to D2L and a word processor is necessary for this class.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
