Introduces the practice of sound editing for video projects. Examines methods for audio mixing, sound design, dialog repair, synchronization of sound with picture and conforming sound to distribution standards. Explores the creation and use of sound effects, foley, and music. Prerequisites: MM 129, MM 235 or instructor permission. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
