Technology

  • You should have access to a computer running a modern operating system and a broad band connection to the internet. For more info see  PCC's online learning computer requirements.
  • Laptop and desktop computers are best for this class, tablets are OK, phones are doable.
  • We will be using Google suite (drive, docs, sheets, slides).
  • Your my.pcc Google Apps should be connected to your my.pcc D2L Brightspace. This video shows how to connect Google Apps with D2L Brightspace.
  • We will be using the web version of Google Earth which is free.
  • For this class use the Google Chrome Browser, other browsers do not work as well with Google Earth. 
  • You should be able to capture a screen shot and create simple drawings on your computer.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
