Details about this class
Welcome to ESR 141!
I am excited to teach, learn, and discuss various aspects of individual sustainability with you. We will use the example of food systems and other examples throughout the course. HERE is a sample syllabus.
The course will be formatted as a research, inquiry, and discussion course. We will have shared readings (some of which will come from our textbook HERE) and documentary/video content to cover on our own (asynchronously) each week. We will synthesize these readings/resources using weekly reflections and activities.
Weekly reflections will be due by the start of our required Zoom meeting session on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:20pm. This session will include both lecture and discussion content.
We will also complete an Individual Sustainability Model and Seed Stories Project in this course.
Please email me with any questions about the course at manar.alattar@pcc.edu.
I am excited to meet you in class!
Very best,
Dr. Manar Alattar
