Welcome to Level 7 Academic Writing!

This courses presents grammar and composition skills for upper-level ESOL students using the social justice themes of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The course addresses specifically definition, cause-and-effect, and discussion essays using a paragraph-to-essay writing process.

Technology

Students will be expected to use Google Docs. Students will submit assignments to D2L (online.pcc.edu). Students will be expected to occasionally bring printed essays to class for peer review. Students will need reliable access to the internet to complete the above requirements and to use the online textbook.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
