Details about this class
Students will need to purchase the textbook, but there is no cost to access AWS for the class assignments if the instructions in the class are followed. Please arrange to get the book before the class starts, so you are ready to go on the first day of class.
Technology
This class uses the AWS Academy and AWS websites. A good Internet connection is required because the labs will only work online. Either the Chrome or Firefox browser is recommended. The course may be taken on any computer running Windows (10 or 11), Mac OSX (Intel/M1/M2/M3) or Linux with a good Internet connection.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
