Please read about my class before registering to ensure it is the right class for you. Attendance in this class is important and required to pass. Attendance is verified through Zoom reports and requires a working microphone. I do not lecture; I use cooperative learning, which requires students to be present, engaged, and participating. Please read why:

The latest research shows Cooperative Learning:

  • 沙巴体育官网s leadership, communication, conflict management, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
  • Exposes and increases understanding of diverse perspectives.
  • Allows students to learn from each other.
  • Prepares for real-life social and employment situations.
  • Increases connection and improves well-being.
  • Promotes a higher level and critical thinking.

It also can reduce isolation, depression, and anxiety by improving our daily interactions with others, especially at work or school.

Classes will include personal reflections, small group work, guest speakers, and college success strategies.
