Details about this class

Much of this class happens online. You are invited to learn our class material through assigned and optional readings and through structured online discussions of assigned questions. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge through the words you post every week to those online discussions, and through the work you submit on quizzes and written assignments. We will meet together once each week in the classroom. Class meetings are intended to be interactive and will include lecture, review, and discussion.

We will use a textbook published by Cengage Publishing, but will not use their related MindTap materials, so you are not required to obtain a MindTap access code for this class.

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Online technical requirements

Please be sure to read the quick guide to Online Learning technical requirements.
