Details about this class
This course is an in-person and online course that will meet weekly on Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1:50 p.m. at the Rock Creek campus.
The cost for the required digital materials for this course, including the textbook, have been included in your class fee. Links to access these materials will be done through the weekly models in D2L.
You must complete the Course Information Quiz to indicate you wish to continue in the course. If you do not take the quiz by 11:59 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the quarter, you may be dropped from the course. Instructors need to drop students who are not attending, per college policy.
Technology
It is recommended that students use Office 365 for this class. Office 365 is available free for current students.
MAC USERS: If you are using a Mac you may have difficulty accessing some functions of the Microsoft Suite. It is recommended that you either have the dual-booting system (Partition) that runs a Microsoft Operating system or use PCC Splashtop access to complete this course. You will not have access to all of the Word features required without Partition or Splashtop. MAC users needing Splashtop must inform their instructor as soon as possible so they can request Splashtop access be granted from IT. No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
