The Portland Teachers Program?is a partnership between?PCC, Portland Public Schools, Portland State University, the University of Portland and the Beaverton School District. It is designed to recruit and help prepare culturally competent teachers, with a special focus on historically underrepresented groups in the teaching profession. More than?130 students have graduated from PTP and there are approximately 65 students currently in the program.

It sure is nice of PCC to take a break from spending $300,000 on Jeremy Brown’s severance to spend $7,500 on diversity.
