HARTS Beat Radio Program
HARTS Beat is a bi-monthly radio show reporting on the arts and humanities at Portland Community College.
The show is a collaboration between the HARTS Committee and Portland radio station XRAY FM. On Monday morning twice a month, XRAY In The Morning—the station’s morning news and talk show—plays a 10-15 minute segment from HARTS. Our episodes include interviews with award-winning poets, experimental web comic artists, student filmmakers, and visual artists.
HARTS Beat is produced and edited by HARTS committee members and work-study students. For information about how to get involved, contact English faculty member Caitlin Dwyer Young.
