Course Description
This workshop equips career and technical teachers in woodworking, construction, and cabinetry with hands-on skills, curriculum development tools, and strategies. Topics include tiny house builds, sawmilling, SkillsUSA, and networking with fellow educators.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:
Design and clearly communicate updated curriculum for a variety of new, project-based learning opportunities.
Apply peer engagement and networking strategies to collaborate with colleagues for real-time support and feedback.
Analyze and apply key concepts and challenges related to tiny house design, construction, and implementation.
