Course Description

Discover how to balance the mind, body and spirit through both Yoga and Ayurveda. Learn assessment skills and recommendations for perfect health. Includes cooking, restorative yoga, aromatherapy, marma, breathing practices and basic herbs.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Assess Dosha in themselves and in others.
2. Discuss the fundamentals of Ayurveda, the three doshas and their qualities.
3. Make yoga and pranayama (breathing) recommendations for balancing Dosha.
4. Relate food, diet yoga and herbs for reducing Vata in Winter.
